A Multi-Day Sea Kayaking Adventure Around Moskenes Island
This multiday sea-kayak expedition around Moskenes Island offers an immersive, adventurous experience combining paddling, wild camping and local storytelling. Each day you paddle through ocean channels, fjords and shallow passages beside dramatic mountains, with opportunities to spot wildlife such as eagles, seals, otters and occasionally whales. Routes are flexible and set according to Lofoten’s changeable weather, while a professional guide leads the group, shares history and geology, and tailors the trip to the group’s fitness and interests. Expect active days of exploration and nights under the midnight sun stars.

Meet at 10:00 AM at the Lofoten Arctic Adventures base in Andopen Bay on Moskenes Island for kit fitting, trip briefing and gear packing; exact daily routes vary according to weather.

• Previous sea-kayaking experience is beneficial but adventurous beginners with sufficient fitness may join.

• Minimum group size 3 and maximum group size 6 for standard trips.
• Lifejackets provided are rated up to 118 kg.
• Private tour limited to a maximum of 6 guests for the stated private price. -
Routes will be adapted daily to local weather and sea conditions; no fixed day-to-day route is provided. Small-group operation; minimum three participants required. For kids younger than 12 or groups larger than six, guests must contact the operator for arrangements and pricing.

Customers will receive a full refund or credit if cancelled at least 14 days before the start of the activity. Contact us by email or phone to make a cancellation or inquire about a cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in the event of cancellation by Lofoten Arctic Adventures due to weather conditions (wind being the main factor) or other unforeseen circumstances. Note that due to quick changes in local weather conditions we may cancel on short notice – any changes will get notified the latest the evening before. If your trip is cancelled due to weather conditions, not enough participants or technical issues of any sort, your payment will be refunded in full. No-show will be charged at full rate and no refunds in case of guests arriving late for the booked trip.

Note that our lifejackets have a maximum weight/size. In order to participate our activities one need to be able to fit our safety equipment required for each activity. Safety always first! We highly recommend you to purchase a travel insurance prior to booking an activity with us.
Although Lofoten Arctic Adventures intends to provide a safe trip for all, we strongly recommend that you protect yourself, your belongings, and your vacation through the purchase of a travel insurance before booking an activity with us. In most cases a trip cancellation policy covers your non-refundable payments should you have to cancel your trip last minute due to illness or injury.
All personal belongings and cameras are carried entirely at the owner’s risk, and we accept no responsibility for lost or damaged property.
Any transportation advice given by Lofoten Arctic Adventures is in good faith and cannot be held accountable for any transport delays/mis-information. This is also applicable when considering the time of return from a tour – we are not able to guarantee any timings in that regard, due to nature.
