Discover Lofoten’s Winter Landscapes on a Guided Snowshoe Adventure
This is a half day guided snowshoe adventure where you get to explore the winterly landscapes of the Lofoten Islands. This 4 hour trip starts in Andopen Bay, located on Moskenes Island which is the most wild and rugged island of Lofoten. Together we will explore the surrounding area on foot with snowshoes, which are specialized outdoor gear for walking over snow.
We meet at the location Andopsveien 39 where you get outfitted and ready for the winter adventure. As the weather during winter is ever changing, the route will be weather dependent. This snowshoe trip takes you through beautiful lofoten winter landscapes, and if the weather allows even some amazing views. During the trip you’ll learn about the Lofoten Islands, history and nature. Roughly halfway we’ll have a shorter break and enjoy a hot drink and a snack.

Dress accordingly to the weather. As a general rule; wear enough clothing to be comfortable warm standing outside. Wearing a warm baselayer, a mid-layer and an outer wind/waterproof jacket and pants is recommended. Shoes: comfortable winter shoes/hiking shoes. Bring a hat, gloves, sunglasses. A small backpack if you have one.
