5 Hour Lofoten Kayak Adventure

Discover More of Lofoten on a 5-Hour Guided Kayak Tour

This is a 5hr Kayak Adventure where you get to explore more compared to our shorter 3 hr trip.

We will meet at the base for Lofoten Arctic Adventures in Andopen Bay, located on Moskenes Island, which is the most wild and rugged island of Lofoten. Here your 5 hour kayak adventure starts.

After meeting your guide and walking over the plan, you will get outfitted into your kayak gear and the kayak will get adjusted, followed by basic paddle & safety instructions before leaving Andopen bay.

Together we will explore the surrounding area, kayaking an ocean channel, fjord, between islands, through shallow areas, alongside great mountains that rise straight from the ocean. Whilst learning about the Lofoten history and amazing stories. Exact route depends on group, interest, weather, light etc. But on average we paddle 10-15 km. Roughly half way we enjoy a break on land and enjoy a hot drink.

This adventure is more than kayaking, it is full of nature, history, geology and wildlife. If we are lucky we might spot an eagle, a seal, an otter or even whales. One never knows what to expect, which makes each trip unique. We’ll soak in the calmness and beauty. A kayak adventure you will not forget.

This is a small group adventure (min. 2 – max. 8 guests) which makes it more pleasant, easy to communicate and offer a more personal feel to the trip.
