LOFOTEN ARCTIC ADVENTURES

Certified guide with at least 3 years of experience and great customer service, tour leader, overnight camping, multiday tours, etc.

Sea kayak guide position requirements:

• Preferably 3 years experience working as kayak guide with an accredited outfitter.
• NPF activity leader, Sea kayak one, SKOANZ, NZOIA, BCU. Minimum 2-star qualification e.g. IPP3/BC3/EPP3. Or equivalent sea kayak guide certification or proven equivalent experience.
• Valid Wilderness/outdoor first aid certificate or wilderness first responder.
• Proficiency with GPS navigation, general navigation skills.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs overhead, ability to carry multi-day backpacks.
• Must be able to paddle approximately 10-20km per day and tow a passenger’s kayak.
• Must be able to guide on land in uneven terrain, navigate in areas without a path and off the beaten track areas.
• The nature of the work may require exposure to inclement weather conditions and may require exposure to hazardous conditions on the water. Must be willing to work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Knowledge of Nordic, arctic regions – nature, wildlife, history, geography. A strong interest in learning and educating guests.
• Reliable, self-motivated and enthusiastic with strong communication skills and the ability to converse with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
• Physically fit and enjoys being outdoors in all weather.
• Being a team player, who enjoys working in a leading role both by yourself and part of a small team.
• Strong work ethic and commitment.
• EU citizenship.
• Language: fluent English. Any other language is a bonus.

Barista skills, latte art, f&b service, positive and kind with great customer service, ability to sell goods and communicate with the guests.

Barista & waitress/waiter position requirements:

• Experience working as barista & waitress/waiter.
• Love and passion for coffee, coffee art and gastronomy.
• High focus on customer service.
• EU citizenship.
• Fluent English, preferably Norwegian/Swedish/Danish (any other language is a bonus).
• Physically fit and enjoy working.
• A team player, who enjoys working by yourself and part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and commitment.
